1.General policy 

1.1 Personal data definition 
Personal data is information, that could disclose the identity of the user. We uphold the principle of data avoidance. As far as possible, we try not to collect any personal data.

1.2 Handling of personal data 
Personal data is only used for the initiation of a contract, for content-related design, or to implement and execute an order or a contract (Art. 6 I S. 1 b German General Data Protection Regulation [from here on out referred to as DSGVO]). 

Furthermore, personal data will be processed, if and when you give us the permission to do so (Art. 6 I S. 1a DSGVO) or if the processing of the data is necessary for our justified interests and no interests, basic rights or freedoms of yours are predominantly negatively effected (Art. 6 I S. 1 f DSGVO). 

We can and may use processors to process your personal data but will not give your personal data to third parties beyond that. 

In order to fulfill an order or contract, we will have to submit data to the commissioned shipping company, if necessary. In order to fulfill payments, the necessary payment data will be submitted to the commissioned financial institution and possibly the chosen and commissioned payment service provider.  

The processing of your data will occur exclusively in the EU, if no deviating information is provided in the following paragraphs. 

1.3 Usage data
When users visit the website, we collect general technical information, namely the used IP-address, time of day, length of the visit, browser type and possibly the website of origin. For technical reasons, this usage data is registered in a logfile and can be used and stored for the statistical analysis of this website. A connection of this usage date and your other personal data does not occur. 

1.4 Duration of storage
We store your personal data after the initial reasons for the storage and collection of your data have concluded, just as long as is necessary for the statutory requirements (particularly for tax law reasons).

2. Your rights 

2.1 Disclosure
If requested, we must disclose, if we use your personal data and, if that is the case, provide you with this personal data and further information in accordance with Art. 15 DSGVO.

2.2 Right of correction
You have the right demand the correction of your data, if it is not correct, and you can demand the amendment of incomplete personal data in accordance with Art. 16 DSGVO.

2.3 Right of deletion 
You have the right to demand the immediate deletion of your personal data. We are obligated to immediately delete this data, particularly if one of the following reasons applies:

  • Your personal data is no longer necessary for the reasons it was initially collected or processed otherwise. 
  • You revoke your permission, which was the foundation for the processing of your data, and there is no other legal basis for the processing of your data. 
  • Your data was processed unlawfully. 

You have no right to demand deletion, if your personal data is necessary for the assertion, execution and defense of our legal claims. 

2.4 Right of restriction of usage
You have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data, if 

  • you challenge the accuracy of the data and we are, therefore, currently assessing the accuracy 
  • the processing is unlawful, and you reject the deletion but demand restriction of usage 
  • we no longer need the data, but you need the data for the assertion, execution and defense of your legal claims. 
  • you have submitted an appeal against the processing of your data, and it is still not determined, if our justified rights outweigh your reasons. 

2.5 Right of data transferability 
You have the right to demand the transfer of your personal data in a structured, common and machine-readable format and you have the right to transfer this data to a responsible third party without obstruction on our part, as long as the legal basis for the processing is a permission or a legal contract and the processing on our part occurs with the help of an automated system. 

2.6 Right of revocation 
If the legal basis for the processing of your personal data is a permission, you have the right to withdraw that permission at any time.

2.7 General right and right of appeal
Exercising your aforementioned rights is generally free. You have the right to submit your appeal to the responsible regulatory authority, the State Commissioner for Data Protection.

3.1 Data security
All data on our website is protected by technical and organizational means against loss, destruction, access, alteration and processing. 

3.2 Sessions and Cookies
For the operation of this website, we can and may use cookies and server-side sessions, in which data is stored. Cookies are files, that a website stores on your hard drive to recognize that computer on the next website visit and adjust the website to you. Some of the used cookies are deleted after the end of the browser session. These are so-called session cookies. Other cookies remain on your terminal and enable the recognition of your browser on a later visit to our website (persistent cookies). You may adjust your browser, so that you will be informed about the placement of cookies and accept them individually or refuse to accept cookies in certain cases or in general. Please note, that you may not be able to use certain features of this website, if cookies are deactivated. We make sure that no personal data from sessions or through cookies are assumed and that cookies are only used, if they are technically necessary for the website. Once you access the website of a third party, you are in the area of responsibility of that third party, so that their respective data privacy policy and statements regarding the usage of data apply. Naturally, we have no influence on that. However, in order to avoid unnecessary data transfer, we recommend to log out of your account on the respective third party platform before using one of the links. In doing so, you may possibly prevent the third party from creating a user profile just through using one of the links.
